Why cocoa needs plot-level evidence
Cocoa's EUDR risk is concentrated at smallholder level — most cocoa reaching the EU passes through cooperatives aggregating beans from thousands of small farms, which is exactly the point where plot-level traceability tends to break down. AVN Earth's technicians map and verify each contributing plot individually, rather than certifying a cooperative or region as a whole.
